Future Greenland 2026

Future Greenland 2026 Conference
May 19–20, 2026 | Katuaq, Nuuk
“The Future is Greenland – Business Development in the Arctic Decade”
For the 10th time, Greenland Business opens its doors to the Future Greenland business conference. Greenland has never lacked opportunities, and the focus has always been on our potential. We are a strong nation at the heart of the Arctic, and recent years have clearly laid the foundation for what can be called the Arctic decade. Global powers are looking north. For many nations, security and foreign policy now include the Arctic, and Greenland is experiencing increasing interest in trade and international relations. Some of this interest is driven by us, but much is driven by the countries around us.
FG26 highlights Greenland’s role and opportunities to secure a strong position in both business development and the unfolding geopolitical situation—both with and without our direct involvement. Greenland has adopted the stance “Nothing About Us – Without Us.” The business community echoes this: “Nothing About Business – Without Business.”
Future Greenland focuses on Greenland’s role in development. A country with ambitions for greater autonomy needs a strong business sector. Companies play a decisive role in the economy and are a key prerequisite for a welfare society. It is the welfare society on which we base our values, and it is business that makes trade possible. Politically, the world is focused on how trade policy is closely intertwined with foreign and security policy. This discussion will be brought to Nuuk at the FG26 conference.
With the growing interest in Greenland and the Arctic, and Greenland’s progress toward greater autonomy, FG26 takes its starting point in business development within a more globalized and digital world. We will discuss the opportunities for Greenlandic businesses and the conditions needed to realize potential in close partnership with Greenland’s political stakeholders.
The first meters of asphalt toward the future are laid—The Future is Greenland—and now we take off!
